Your Skincare Needs a Stop Rule.

Not Just Instructions for Starting.

Skincare advice often tells you how to begin: how much, how often, which night, what strength. But responsible skincare also means knowing when the plan should change.

Know Your Stop Signals

Before continuing an active, check:

  • • Is burning persistent or repeatedly returning?
  • • Is redness, itching, peeling, or discomfort increasing?
  • • Is there significant swelling or a reaction that feels severe?

Some actives can cause mild temporary effects, but worsening or persistent irritation should not be repeatedly pushed through.

Doctor’s Note: Persistent or escalating irritation is a reason to pause and reassess rather than force tolerance. Significant swelling or a severe reaction needs prompt medical attention.

A smart routine doesn’t only tell you what to do. It tells you when not to.
